Tattoo related questions

Do you take walk-ins?

Yes, I do! But of course depends on my schedule that day. So it's better to give me a call the same day or make an appointment.

How to book an appointment?

Through my webpage HERE

In addition you can contact me via the Instagram (@sparrow_flies_tattoo) or email (infosaprrowflies<at>gmail.com).

Please include the below information in you message:

  • your vision, idea

  • approximate tattoo size

  • body placement (for bigger tattoos or gap fillers it would be great to have pictures too)

  • reference pictures (if you have any)

  • preferred dates for your appointment

What is the minimum price for a tattoo?

Prices start from 80 euros. There are many factors that influence the tattoo price: size, placement, tattoo style, clients ability to stay still, etc. Sometimes it can be very hard to estimate the final price so it's always better to have a consultation face to face, especially if it's a bigger piece or a difficult placement.

Do you do cover-ups?

Yes, but you have to keep in mind that there are many factors to take into consideration when it comes to expectations, it's a complex process. I always recommend to have a consultation first. After, we can see what makes sense the most for your specific situation.

How do I prepare myself for my tattoo appointment?

Good rest before your appointment will make your tattoo experience way better. Enough sleep, rich breakfast, shower and no consumption of alcohol or drugs prior is a must. Wear comfortable clothes or bring something to change. I don’t recommend wearing tight clothes on your appointment day, because some clothes (a bra or tight jeans) can leave marks on the tattoo placement and we want to avoid that. Don’t wear white or expensive clothes, because sometimes tattoo ink splashes and then your favorite tee is ruined forever.

Can I have a tattoo if I am pregnant or I am breastfeeding?

No, you shouldn’t get a tattoo if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Tattoos are already quite tough experience for your body, so I would recommend to wait.

Can I see my drawing before the appointment?

You should always share a full and thorough request list prior to the appointment. I will definitely consider everything in that list, so your tattoo design is just like you want it to be. But the final design I can only share with you on the day of the appointment. So once again it's very important to brief me in as much as possible beforehand. But of course some small changes, that do not require much time, can be made on the appointment day.

What is your cancellation policy?

All cancellations or rescheduling should be made at least 2 business days in advance. Otherwise, you won't get your deposit back.

TATTOO AFTERCARE

If you have a tattoo plaster on:

  • Keep it for 3-5 days. You can shower with it, but don't take baths, go to saunas or swim for 1 month.

  • During the first couple of days, your skin might be red-ish and feel hot, I suggest using a cooling bag, just wrap it in a towel first. But if that persists for a longer time, there might be another reason. Sometimes people can get an allergic reaction to the plaster. In case that happens - just take it off. I noticed that this usually happens with an upper arm skin. If you are not sure what to do, just send me a picture and we can go from there.

  • The easiest way to take the plaster off - wet it and then slowly pull it off from your skin while stretching it.

  • If the plaster gets open earlier than after 3-5 days - don't worry, it's totally fine. That can happen for multiple reasons, like sweat, heat or body oils. Don't try to stick the plaster back on, just remove it and wash your tattoo with soap and warm water.

  • If your tattoo is leaking through the plaster, you should take it off too. Otherwise there is a risk of infection as various bacteria can get in through the gaps.

  • When the plaster is removed, you should keep your tattoo clean - wash it twice a day with fragrance-free soap and warm water. I recommend drying the tattoo with paper towels for the first two weeks. After wash, use a bit of a tattoo cream. Just don't over-cream your tattoo, thin layer is enough. It is better to apply it more often than too much at once.

  • Wear comfortable, not too tight clothes while your tattoo is healing.

  • Don't do sports for 3-5 days.

  • Don't scratch your tattoo.

  • No sun for one month, after that - use sun protection.

If you have a clear plastic wrap on:

  • Keep it on for 3-4 hours.

  • Remove the wrap with clean hands and wash the tattoo with a fragrance-free soap and warm water. Let the tattoo dry on its own.

  • For the night, use a new piece of a plastic wrap, but before that - wash the tattoo and let it dry.

  • If your tattoo is leaking through the plaster, you should take it off too. Otherwise there is a risk of infection as various bacteria can get in through the gaps.

  • In the morning you should take the plastic wrap off again and wash the tattoo and let it dry on its own.

  • After that - the wrap is not needed anymore. For the upcoming 3 days keep the tattoo clean the same way and don't use any creams.

  • When 3 days have passed, you can start using a bit of a tattoo cream, 2-3 times a day for 1 month. Just don't over cream your tattoo, it should be super thin layer of cream. Just don't over-cream your tattoo, thin layer is enough. It is better to apply it more often than too much at once.Wear comfortable, not too tight clothes while your tattoo is healing.

  • Don't do sports for 3-5 days.

  • Don't scratch your tattoo.

  • No sun for one month, after that - use sun protection.
